FAQ

HOW TO BOOK?

Please send your inquiry to: barawskitattoos@gmail.com. Make sure to send references of the subject. A couple of pictures of my work and real-life ones will be enough, I do not need tattoos from other artists as a guide. I require pictures of the placement where you would like the tattoo in a neutral position and natural light. Feel free to share a bit about yourself, explain the meaning or the story behind your tattoo, it will be useful for me to understand and create your design.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

I do provide online quotes approximately.
For a better idea of how much something will cost, an in person consultation will be the best. Price depends on size, subject, details, and skin type. For that reason, I’ll have to see the area in person to offer a better idea of what cost you can expect.

WHEN DO I SEE THE DESIGN?

I do not show design before the appointment. When needed you’ll be called in approximately a week prior to your appointment for a fitting, which allows the both of us to see how the design corresponds to your body and indicates what adjustments I might need to make.

WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES?

It is always easiest to make changes to the design when you come in for your fitting, mainly on the day of the appointment. More importantly, be as clear as possible about your desires during the consultation/email stage.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

Your deposit remains on file, pending your 72 hours notice; this can be done via email. If you reschedule 2 times, a new deposit will be required.

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WON’T TATTOO?
  • Dead/stabbed animals
  • Disrespectful depictions
  • Face/Neck Tattoos
  • Copies of existing tattoos
  • Script incorporated to a design
  • I tattoo hands only if you are extremely tattooed.
WILL IT HURT?

Pain tolerance varies by individual and area. Unfortunately it will hurt regardless. To make your session more comfortable, please make sure you are healthy, have a positive mind, sleep well and come with a full stomach. Do not drink/take drugs, I will not tattoo you.

WHAT CAN I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

A week prior to your appointment, I would recommend to prepare your skin with a daily moisturizer. This will help the skin better take the ink. Make sure to bring plenty of snacks, entertainment and headphones. Please eat prior your appointment. Stay hydrated. Maintain proper hygiene and wear loose comfortable clothing to allow me to easily access to the areas we are working on.

DO YOU ALLOW NUMBING CREAM?

I only feel comfortable using numbing cream during lining sessions, thus only for big projects. Therefore, numbing cream is not permitted after lining.

SHOULD I SHAVE?

I would prefer you don’t shave ahead of time, as you run the risk of cuts and abrasions. If you have thick body hair, please use clippers/trimmers to shorten the hair and reduce shaving time.

DO YOU DO COVERUPS?

I can if given full flexibility of subject and size. Combined with laser removal as to be considered. I will not take on coverups unless I’m 100% sure we’ll have a great result.

HOW DO I BOOK TOUCH UP?

Send me an email. Keep in mind, free touch-ups only cover ink that come out during the healing process.
Fading during sun exposure and negligence is not covered.

HOW DO I PREVENT MY TATTOO FROM FADING?

Tattoos do fade and age overtime, but to keep it look vibrant avoid tanning as much as you can, and moisturize as part of your daily routine. This will help keep your tattoo looking vibrant.
